What stays on your machine, and what reaches us
Scraping runs locally: the pages you fetch and the calls to your own API providers go straight from your machine, not through our servers. Your tables are the exception — cloud sync stores them for you, and it is on by default. That is explained plainly below, because a policy that says "never" and means "usually" is worse than no policy.
01What we collect
When you create an account: your name, your email address, and the plan and entitlement data needed to run it.
Inside the app we collect limited product analytics: which features are used, and where things fail, so we can fix them.
We do not collect your browsing history. The content of pages you scrape, and anything you produce in the app, stays on your machine unless cloud sync is on — see section 03.
This website is separate from the app. Like most sites, it uses cookies for analytics and advertising, loaded through Google Tag Manager: Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and pixels for Meta, LinkedIn and Reddit. These measure visits and tell us which ads brought people here. They run on the website only and have no access to the app or to anything in your tables.
02Where your data lives
Tables, columns, enrichment results and exports are stored on your own computer, by the desktop app or the browser extension. With cloud sync on, a copy is also stored in your account.
API calls to providers you connect — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Findymail, Icypeas, Cloudflare — go directly from your machine to them. Your keys are stored locally, and cloud sync does not upload them.
03Cloud sync — on by default
The exception, stated plainly
When you are signed in, cloud sync is on by default. It stores a copy of your tables — their rows, columns and enrichment results, including the text of pages you scraped — on our infrastructure, so that your own devices agree. That is the whole purpose of it. It is scoped to your own account. We do not read your tables, and we do not sell, rent or share them.
To turn it off, open Settings and switch off Cloud sync. From then on your tables stay on your machine only. Turning it off does not remove what is already synced: delete those tables while sync is still on, or ask us to delete your account.
04How we use it
- To create and manage your account
- To apply plan limits and entitlements
- To send service updates that affect you
- To understand usage, diagnose failures and improve reliability
05Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.
We use ordinary service providers to run the product — hosting, authentication, payments and analytics — and they process data only to provide those services to us.
06Your choices
- Turn cloud sync off in Settings, and your tables stay on your machine from then on.
- Delete a table, and it is gone locally and, if sync is on, from sync.
- Ask us to delete your account and the account data attached to it.
- Block the website's analytics and advertising cookies with your browser's own controls or an ad blocker. Nothing in the product depends on them.
