How it worksFour things you decide
- Reference your columnsWrite the prompt as an instruction and drop in columns with placeholders. Type / to insert one, or write {Markdown} and {Title} by hand.
- Say what shape you want backAsk for one word if you want a category, a sentence if you want a summary. Vague prompts give inconsistent columns — the instruction is the schema.
- Check the previewThe Preview section renders the prompt against the first row, so you can see what the model will actually receive before spending a run on every row.
- Tune the model if neededUnder LLM model settings. The model list is whatever you've connected — an OpenAI, Anthropic or Google AI key from Settings, or Claude Code (local agent) with no key needed. Raise it, or the content length or token budget also in that section, when answers come back wrong or truncated.
FAQQuestions people actually ask
Why is the answer empty?
Usually the referenced column is empty for that row. Analyze can only work with what is in the row — scrape or import the source column first.
Can it return several fields at once?
Ask for them in one answer and split afterwards, or run one column per field. One field per column keeps filtering and sorting usable.
Does "Send full row to webhook" fire on a manual Run too?
No — only through Auto-run. Check the webhook box without Auto-run on new rows, click Run by hand, and it succeeds with nothing sent — the two checkboxes look independent but the webhook only actually fires from the auto-run path. Turn on Auto-run as well if you want it to fire.
What does "Auto-run on new rows" do?
Runs this column by itself whenever new rows arrive — no clicking Run. It only picks up new arrivals; rows already in the table when you turn it on are left alone. It only fires while the app is open — closing it pauses everything until you reopen.
What does "Add run condition" do?
Skips rows where a condition on another column isn't met — e.g. only run if Email is empty. Skipped rows cost no actions, on both manual and auto runs.
