Illustrative. Several columns into one, with the separator and order you set.
How it worksThree things you decide
- Pick the columns in orderOrder is the order they will be joined in, so put them the way you want to read them.
- Choose a separatorA space for names, a comma for locations. Type \\n for a line break when you are building an address block.
- Decide about empty cellsSkipping them avoids the double separators you get when a middle value is missing.
FAQQuestions people actually ask
Why is there a stray comma in some rows?
An empty middle column. Turn on skip empty cells and re-run.
What does "Auto-run on new rows" do?
Runs this column by itself whenever new rows arrive — no clicking Run. It only picks up new arrivals; rows already in the table when you turn it on are left alone. It only fires while the app is open — closing it pauses everything until you reopen.
What does "Add run condition" do?
Skips rows where a condition on another column isn't met — e.g. only run if Email is empty. Skipped rows cost no actions, on both manual and auto runs.
