Devices: your limit and how to free a slot
Your plan allows a set number of devices. Each install of Manycrawl counts as one. If you see Device limit reached, remove a device you no longer use, and you can sign in again.
How many devices your plan allows
- Free: 2
- Lite: 2
- Pro (monthly or lifetime): 3
- Some older lifetime plans: 1
The device limit screen always states your number: “Your plan allows N device(s)”.
What counts as a device
- The desktop app and the Chrome extension each count as their own device, even on the same computer.
- Reinstalling the app, or clearing the extension’s site data, creates a new device.
- Another browser profile with the extension counts separately.
- Uninstalling does not free a slot. The device stays on your account until you remove it.
See and remove devices
- Open Settings and find the Account & Devices card.
- Under Registered Devices, each device shows its name and Last seen date. The one you are using is marked This device.
- Click Remove next to a device you no longer use. Manycrawl asks “Remove this device? It will need to be re-activated.” Confirm.
Removing a device does not delete any tables. With cloud sync on, your tables also live in your account.
If you can’t open Settings
When the limit is reached, a Device limit reached screen replaces the app. It has two buttons:
- Reset all devices & use this one signs out every other device and registers this one. Manycrawl asks first: “This will sign out all other devices and register only this one. Continue?”
- Sign out.
If you only want to drop one old device, sign in on a device that still works and use Remove in Settings instead of resetting everything.
When it is checked
Manycrawl checks your plan and device at sign-in and again regularly while it is running. A table’s data does not depend on this check.
Want more devices? The Pro plan, monthly or lifetime, allows 3. See the pricing page, or contact support if your plan allows fewer than you expected.
