Installing the Manycrawl desktop app
Manycrawl runs as a native desktop app on macOS and Windows. Here is how to install it and sign in.
Download & install
- Go to the download page and get the build for your operating system (macOS or Windows).
- Open the downloaded file and follow the installer. On macOS, drag Manycrawl into your Applications folder.
- Launch Manycrawl from Applications (macOS) or the Start menu (Windows).
macOS security note: Manycrawl is signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens normally. If you ever see a warning that an app “cannot be opened,” you likely have an older unsigned build — re-download the latest from the download page.
On first launch, click Sign in with Google. Your tables are stored locally on your device and synced to your account, so you can pick up where you left off. See Sign in and out of Manycrawl if sign-in does not complete.
Check your version
In the app menu choose About Manycrawl Desktop to see the version, for example v0.1.16. The same window has Check for Updates…. Include the version when you contact support.
Installing the desktop app also registers it as a device on your account. If you already use the Chrome extension, read Desktop app or Chrome extension first.
