Export your table to CSV

Open the table’s ⋯ menu and choose Export…. You can download a CSV file, or send the same rows to Manyreach. CSV is the only file format.

Download a file

  1. Open the table and click ⋯ in the toolbar, then Export…. The Export panel opens.
  2. Under Download, choose one:
    • CSV: every column as it appears in the table.
    • CSV with page text: the same, plus the scraped page text. The file is much larger.

The file is named manycrawl-current-data- followed by the date and time, and ends in .csv. It is saved to your computer.

What is in the file

  • The rows you are looking at. If a filter is on, only matching rows are exported, from every page, not just the one on screen. Sort order is kept. Ticking row checkboxes does not limit an export.
  • Every column, including hidden ones. Columns you hid in the table are still in the file. Delete them in your spreadsheet if you do not want them.
  • An ID column first. It is Manycrawl’s internal record id, not a row number.
  • Page text left out by default. The long text columns Body text, Main content and HTML are only included with CSV with page text. The activity log says so when it leaves them out.
  • Several values in one cell are joined with “ | ”, up to 20 of them, followed by “…+N more”. Any cell over 32,000 characters is cut off and ends with “[truncated]”.
  • Commas, quotes and line breaks inside a cell are escaped properly. The file is comma-separated UTF-8 with a marker that helps Excel read accents.

If the file looks wrong, see CSV export is incomplete or looks misaligned.

Send the rows to Manyreach

In the same Export panel, under Send this table now, choose Manyreach. It adds the rows showing in the table, 500 at a time.

  1. Add your Manyreach key if asked (Add Manyreach account). See Which API keys do I need?
  2. Choose a list: No list, Add to a list or Create a new list. Creating a new list is the default. You can also choose a campaign, with No campaign as the default.
  3. Check the Fields mapping. Manycrawl matches your columns to Manyreach fields by name. Email is required. If a cell has several values, the first one is sent.
  4. Click Send. If you picked a live campaign, Manycrawl asks you to confirm with Send anyway.
