Build a list from one prompt in Claude

Connect Claude to Manycrawl once, then ask for a list in plain English. Claude creates the table in your Manycrawl app and rows stream in. You can ask it to add columns and export, too.

Connect Claude

  1. Open Manycrawl and sign in. The app has to be running for Claude to use it.
  2. Open Settings and find Connect Claude Desktop. Click Connect. It adds a manycrawl entry to your Claude settings file (~/.claude.json). There is nothing to type in a terminal.
  3. Open the Code tab in Claude Desktop and approve the Manycrawl tools once.

If something looks off later, click Re-check on the same card. Disconnect removes the entry. Using Claude Code in a terminal, Codex or Cursor instead? Follow the setup guides on the MCP page.

Ask for a list

Describe what you want, how many, and what to include. For example:

“Find 20 dentists in London with their website and phone number.”

Claude starts a Google Maps search in Manycrawl and a new table appears in the app. Tell Claude how many rows you want, because that number caps the whole table. Rows fill in as they are found, and some details, like the phone number, can arrive a little after the names.

Keep going

  • Enrich it: “Add an email column from each website.” Claude adds the email finder column and runs it.
  • Check the result in the app. The table is a normal Manycrawl table, so you can filter, add columns or export it.
  • Ask why something failed. Claude can read the table’s activity log to see why a run stopped or skipped rows.
  • Stop a run. Ask Claude to stop it, or press Stop in the app.

Good to know

  • Closing Manycrawl’s window hides it to the tray and it keeps serving Claude. Quitting the app stops it.
  • Rows an agent creates count as actions on your plan like any other rows. See how credits and usage limits work.
  • For lists Claude should not guess, give it the page or the exact search to use.

If nothing happens

  • Make sure Manycrawl is open and signed in, then click Re-check on the Connect Claude Desktop card.
  • Start a new session in the Code tab so Claude picks up the connection.
  • If a request fails, ask Claude to check Manycrawl’s engine status.
