Your first table: scrape and enrich
Let’s build a real table from scratch: start from a source, pull in rows, add an email column, and export the result. It takes about five minutes.
1. Start from a source
On Home, look under Sources. Each card starts a different kind of table. For a first run, choose Google Maps, which collects local businesses with phone, website and rating. It needs the desktop app.
- Under What to find (category or keyword), type something like “dentists” and press Enter.
- Under Location (city, address, or place), type a place like “Rome, Italy”.
- Click Create & run.
You see “Google Maps table created — searching…”, and rows start to appear. The search runs in the background, and you can keep using your computer. More detail is in Google Maps: build a list of local businesses.
2. Look at your rows
Each business is a row, with columns such as Name, Rating, Reviews, Category, Address, Phone and Website. The toolbar above the table has Scrape more to add more results, Edit search to change the search, Fill missing to complete addresses and websites, and Map view to see the businesses on a map.
3. Enrich the rows
Click Enrichment in the toolbar to add a column that runs on every row. Choose Email finder to read each business’s website and return the email addresses published there. See Run your first enrichment and Find emails on each website.
4. Export
When you are happy, open the table’s ⋯ menu and choose Export…, then CSV. You can also use the row menu in the table list on Home: Download CSV or Send to Manyreach. See Export your table to CSV.
