Job monitors: find hiring signals
Three sources turn job postings into rows: Job search monitor (keywords and a place, across several boards), LinkedIn jobs (the same, set up for LinkedIn), and Company jobs monitor (every open job at companies you name). A company that is hiring is often a company with a budget. All three need the desktop app and no login or key.
Job search monitor and LinkedIn jobs
- On Home, under Sources, click See all sources and choose Job search monitor, or LinkedIn jobs, which is the same form with LinkedIn already ticked and the last week selected.
- Under Keywords (comma or newline separated), list roles, for example “account executive, sales engineer”. Leave it empty to take everything.
- Optional: Location (for example “London”), Remote only, and Exclude if it contains (for example “internship”).
- Choose how to Match (any keyword, all keywords, exact phrase or regex) and a Date posted window: any time, past month, past week (default) or past 24 hours. The date window applies to LinkedIn and The Muse.
- Tick at least one source under Sources:
- Hacker News: the “Who’s hiring” thread, mostly startups.
- RemoteOK and Remotive: remote roles.
- The Muse: named companies; it needs a location and at least one category.
- LinkedIn: the widest coverage, but slower because it is paced.
- Set Keep rows for: 7, 14 or 30 days (default 30). Click Create & run.
Ticking Fetch full job details adds seniority, type, function, industries, applicants and the description for LinkedIn jobs. It makes one extra request per new job, so it is slower and raises the chance LinkedIn blocks you. It runs only on newly added rows.
Company jobs monitor
- Choose Company jobs monitor.
- Under Company domains (one per line; no board links needed), list company websites, for example stripe.com or linear.app. A pasted address is cleaned to the domain.
- Click Create & run.
Manycrawl finds each company’s job board by itself and pulls the full list of open jobs. It recognises Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Workable. A company that uses another system returns no rows, and the log only shows how many companies were found, such as “(7/10 companies resolved)”. Every row has a Company column so you can group and filter by it.
What you get
Source, Title, Company, Company LinkedIn, Location, Remote, Type, Seniority, Department, Industries, Applicants, Posted, Salary, Matched, ATS, Description (up to 8,000 characters), Recorded and a Link. Not every board provides every field. Each new job is one action, and a job you already have is not added again.
Keep it running
Turn on Auto-refresh in Automations to check every 15 minutes, hour, 6 hours or day, while the app is open. Check now checks immediately. Add a webhook under Notify this monitor to to hear about new jobs.
Good to know
- LinkedIn is read without signing in, and slowly on purpose. If LinkedIn throttles or blocks the requests, that source returns what it collected and stops. The other boards are not affected.
- The log shows a line for each source. If a source fails you see “failed” with the reason.
- Pair it with Find emails on each website on the company’s website, to reach the people behind the hiring.
