Sign in and out of Manycrawl
The desktop app signs you in with Google. There is no separate password, and your account is created automatically the first time you sign in.
- Open Manycrawl. The first time, it may download its browser engine (about 150 MB) before it shows the sign-in screen.
- On the Welcome to ManyCrawl screen, click Sign in with Google.
- Your usual browser opens a page on your own computer (it starts with
127.0.0.1) and sends you to Google. Choose your account. - The page says Signed in! Returning to Manycrawl…. Your browser may ask whether to open Manycrawl Desktop; allow it. If it does not, the page says you can close the tab and return to the app.
- Manycrawl loads your tables.
Use the same Google account every time. Your plan, tables and devices belong to that account. If you paid or redeemed a code with one address and sign in with another, you will see the Free plan. See My plan still shows Free after paying.
The sign-in screen also notes that the Free tier has 500 enrichment actions a month, with unlimited tables and rows.
If nothing happens
- Click the button again. That restarts sign-in. An attempt gives up after 5 minutes.
- Check your default browser. The sign-in page opens there. If you closed it, click Sign in with Google again.
- “Sign-in didn’t complete. Try again.” appears in the browser if the last step failed. Use the link on that page to start over.
- Only one copy of Manycrawl can sign in at a time. Sign-in uses port 8790 on your computer. If another copy of Manycrawl is running, quit it and try again.
- If it still fails, contact support with your app version and operating system.
Sign out
At the bottom of the left sidebar, next to your plan badge and picture, click the Sign out icon. You return to the sign-in screen.
Signing out does not delete your tables. They stay on this computer under your account, and they reappear when you sign back in. If you share a computer, each Google account sees its own tables.
