Find emails on each website
This column reads each company’s website and returns the email addresses published there, along with the page where it found them. It needs no API key and works in the desktop app. Each row costs one action.
Add the column
- Open a table that has a column of company websites, for example a Google Maps table.
- Click Enrichment and choose Email finder (Find emails on website).
- Under Column with URLs, pick the column with each company’s website. A full address or a bare domain both work. On a Google Maps table it uses the Website column; Maps and booking links are ignored.
- Run it. Cells show Processing… while they work.
What it reads
Manycrawl opens the home page, then the contact, about and team pages that the site links to. Two settings control it: Extra pages per website (0–8), 3 by default, and Stop at the first company email, on by default, which ends the search for a site as soon as it finds an address on the site’s own domain. It reads ordinary mail links, emails hidden in the page’s data, addresses protected by Cloudflare, and text like “name [at] company [dot] com”.
What you get
The column creates several fields. By default you see three of them:
- Best email, the most useful address it found.
- Found on, the page it came from.
- Email status.
You can also show All emails, Email type, Contact page and Pages checked from the column’s field list.
What an empty result means
- “No email on site” means the site does not publish an address Manycrawl could read. Many sites only show a contact form.
- “Not a business website” means the address is a platform page, such as a social profile, and not the company’s own site.
- “No website in this row” means the input cell was empty. “Could not load the website” means the site did not answer.
- “Blocked by the site’s bot protection” means the site refused the request. Try again later.
- An empty cell on a row with no website is expected: the column needs a website to read.
